CRM Lead Processing
Automated lead capture from lead form on client website. Leads are sent to Odoo CRM and Mattermost Channel of the sales and marketing team. It also sends a email to the lead to book a call with the sales team.
SEO Analytics
Workflow uses a table of Wordpress pages as the source for page urls and then crawls the page and analyzes each page for SEO best practices. It then updates the NocoDB table with the report. From the NocoDB table interface the client can view the report in that interface or generage a pdf of the report for each page by triggering another N8N workflow.
Onboard new Client for SAAS
Workflow is triggered by purchase of subscription to Software as a Service Application. It creates a new database instance for the new customer and sets up the new tenant. Provisions a new S3 bucket in Minio. It sets up new users and groups in the authentication system for the new client and then sends welcome email with new credentials. Uses Apache Superset's api to configure user in Apache Superset used for analytics.
NPI (National Provider Identifier) Lookup
Simple workflow that looks up the NPI number for a company to verify that the company is real. This is used to vet potential customers to verify that they are who they say they are.
Offboarding Terminated User
This workflow uses powershell as well as Cloudflare's api to disable a user's account and reset their password. It also revokes licenses and sessions on Cloudflare based VPN Solution used for remote access. Sends notifications via email and mattermost channel.
Batch Processing of Records
This workflow takes an excel document of prior authorization records and imports them into the related table in the health care saas application.
AI Based Article Generation
Workflow uses Newsdata.io to get an article subject and uses AI to generate original articles based the topic and description. It posts the article as a draft post to the wordpress site and sends notification to the sales team to review and publish.
SQL Server High Availability Monitor
Workflow monitors a SQL Server High Availability cluster. It checks if the primary node has changed and sends email as well as post to Notification channel in Mattermost notification when it does.
Employee Onboarding
Workflow takes input using n8n form and creates the new employee's Network account and adds the user into the Odoo ERP and CRM Modules. Sends welcome email to employee and announces the new employee in the Mattermost Community channel.
OCR Documents
This workflow was used to process images of pages that contained payment authorizations from the care provider. There were roughly 100 scanned pages that needed to be converted to text. Utilized Tesseract to extract images and then used ai to reformat the output into json that was then inserted into NocoDB table and delivered to client
Node Development
Developed Several Nodes for Keycloak extending a project that was available on Github to add additional functionality that was missing in the project. I added several nodes to create users and groups in Keycloak. Keycloak is a an authentication provider for applications providing oAuth2 and SAML authentication.
Self-Hosting Expertise
I have used n8n in a self-hosting capacity ever since I discovered it two years ago. I run it in docker on Linux as well as directly on Windows to utilize Powershell community nodes that allow me to run commands against Windows infrastructure in n8n workflows.
